Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf seeks a senior Pattern Maker to join the Madrid design hub. You will develop and refine patterns, translate design sketches and market trends into production-ready fits, and collaborate with designers, buyers, and suppliers to ensure feasibility.

The role requires at least 8 years in pattern making and fit engineering, fluent Spanish and strong English, with a proactive, cross-functional mindset.

Formación

• A degree in Pattern Making, Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field.
• Expert in pattern drafting and achieving perfect fit.
• Experience in fast fashion and global sourcing/production.
• Fluent in Spanish; strong English; German a plus.
• Strong communication and proactive teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Create and refine garment patterns translating sketches into production-ready fits.
• Ensure fit and silhouette across sizes.
• Collaborate with Designers, Buyers, Product Developers and Suppliers.
• Lead fittings and implement technical pattern adjustments.
• Maintain technical docs and ensure brand quality standards.
• Mentor junior pattern makers and technical engineers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Create Perfect Patterns: You develop and refine patterns for different garments, translating design sketches, market trends, and consumer profiles into flawless fits.
• Ensure Fit & Silhouette: You adjust patterns during development and perform size grading to achieve consistent, perfect fit across all sizes and body types.
• Collaborate Across Teams: You work closely with Designers, Buyers, Product Developers and Suppliers to ensure each style is feasible, consistent, and production-ready.
• Lead Fittings: You conduct and lead fitting sessions, identify necessary adjustments, and implement technical solutions to optimize patterns for industrial production.
• Maintain Technical Excellence: You manage technical documentation, maintain expertise in fabrics and construction techniques, and ensure brand quality standards and production constraints are met.
• Mentor & Support: You guide Junior Pattern Makers and Technical Engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow professionally.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Your Educational Background: You hold a degree in Pattern Making, Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• Your Strengths: You are highly skilled in both manual and digital pattern drafting with deep knowledge of tailoring, garment construction, fits, and silhouettes. You are solution-oriented, commercially minded, and able to balance design integrity, fit, and industrial efficiency.
• Your Profile: You bring at least 8 years of experience in pattern making and fit engineering, ideally in fast fashion with experience in global sourcing and production. You are fluent in Spanish and very good in Englisch, German is a plus. You are a strong communicator, proactive, and thrive in cross-functional collaboration.
