EIT Urban Mobility is recruiting a Business Development and Engagement Officer based in Barcelona, Spain, to drive partnerships and engagement across the Hub South geography, mainly France and Portugal. You will manage leads, coordinate with account managers and contribute to market insights in an international setting.

The role requires a proactive, self-driven professional with strong English and French skills, plus experience in multi-stakeholder environments.

Formación

• Completed relevant degree and 2–5 years of equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in business development / partnerships and ability to manage pipeline (CRM) and close deals and agreements.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French (C1 level).
• Experience in working in an international, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Well-developed communication skills, pro-active and independent worker but team player.

The Business Development and Engagement Officer will be based in Barcelona and support the Innovation Hub South Team. The job holder willdoengagementof theEIT Urban Mobilityecosystemandbusiness developmentin the Innovation Hub South geography(mainlyfocused onFranceandPortugal).

Keyresponsibilities

Business Development – Develop newpartnerships:

• Identifynew potential partners in the region, capture their needs, matching them with the EIT Urban Mobility offering and convert them into partners.
• Management andanalysisof leads process.
• Market analysis at Hub level in close collaboration with the rest of the EIT UM team.

CommunityEngagement – Create engagement and value for partners through engagement across EIT Urban Mobility:

• Contribute to partner engagement activities in close collaboration with account managers.
• Supporting partner review processes, gathering insights on stakeholders needs, and contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing partner satisfaction and long-term value creation across the EIT Urban Mobility ecosystem.

Must-haves

• Completed relevant degreeand twotofiveyears of equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in business development / partnerships and ability to manage pipeline (CRM) and close deals and agreements
• Excellent written andspokenEnglishand French(corresponding to at least C1 level).
• Experience in working in an international, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Have well-developed communication skills, a pro-active and self-starter attitudeandan being an independent worker but team player.

Nice-to-haves

• Good communicationskills in Spanish and Portuguese.
• A good knowledge and understanding of the mobility eco-system in the Innovation HubSouthregion.
• An active network of relevant stakeholders in the mobility ecosystem in the Innovation Hub South region (specially in France and Portugal).
