Jobtailor is seeking an automation specialist to identify inefficiencies and translate business needs into scalable automation solutions. You will design, develop, test, and deploy automations in a live customer support environment, leveraging Make.com, Airtable, AWS, Zendesk, and AI technologies.

You will maintain and enhance workflows, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Tooling, Operations, Product, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement and reliability while ensuring

• Identify operational inefficiencies and transform manual processes into scalable automated solutions
• Design, develop, test, and deploy automations that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
• Maintain and enhance existing automations, integrations, and workflows
• Troubleshoot issues and support deployed solutions
• Partner with stakeholders to understand pain points, process gaps, and operational challenges
• Convert business requirements into automation designs and implementation plans
• Build solutions using Make.com, Airtable, AWS, Zendesk, and approved AI technologies
• Explore and implement AI capabilities and intelligent automation where they improve operational outcomes
• Support experimentation and validation of new technologies
• Contribute technical expertise to roadmap projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Collaborate with Tooling, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams
• Ensure solutions are documented, maintainable, and scalable

Requirements

• Experience building an automation that ran inside a live customer support or contact centre environment
• Experience with workflow automation, data platforms, cloud technologies, and emerging AI capabilities
• Experience using Make.com, Airtable, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Zendesk, and approved AI technologies
• Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy automations
• Ability to maintain and enhance automations, integrations, and workflows for reliability and scalability
• Ability to troubleshoot deployed solutions
• Ability to translate business requirements into automation designs and implementation plans
• Ability to evaluate and implement AI and automation opportunities pragmatically
• Ability to collaborate with Customer Care, Tooling, Operations, Product, Engineering, and other business teams
• Resume and portfolio/application materials submitted in English
• Ability and willingness to work in the office 3 days per week
• Must be based within commuting distance of a Perk hub
