Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Business Architect / Business Capability Manager ( freelance ) to shape and manage the business capability landscape for a large enterprise programme. You will define and structure business capabilities, build governance, and link business strategy to operating model, processes and technology.

This is a business architecture role rather than a technical EA position. You will work in a remote European setting with 100% remote availability and engage with senior

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on business capability modelling experience in large organisations.
• Ability to define and maintain multi-level capability hierarchies and governance.
• Experience with LeanIX (strongly preferred) and Signavio is a plus.
• Translate business strategy into operating model, processes and tech implications.
• Capable of senior-level stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.

Job title – Business Architect / Business Capability Manager

Client Location – Remote, Europe

Our client is looking for a business-focused architect to shape and manage the business capability landscape for a large enterprise programme. You will define and structure business capabilities, build out the capability hierarchy and its governance, and use it to link business strategy to operating model, processes and technology. This is a business architecture role rather than a technical enterprise architecture position.

Key skills and Experience required

• Proven hands-on business capability modelling: defining capabilities from scratch and owning the model
• Building multi-level capability hierarchies and the governance frameworks that keep them maintained
• Hands-on LeanIX experience (strongly preferred)
• Background in large, complex enterprise organisations
• Translating business strategy into operating model, process and technology implications
• Capability assessments, gap analysis and dependency mapping
• Confident stakeholder management and workshop facilitation at senior level
• Signavio experience is a plus
