Minerva Bunkering, a leading bunker supplier, seeks a regional bunkering operations coordinator in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. You will oversee pre- and post-deal activities, coordinate schedules, and ensure smooth contract execution for the Bunker Trading Team.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in the industry, strong planning and communication skills, and a good grasp of shipping terminology. The role requires independent work and collaboration with internal and external counterparties.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Oversee regional bunkering operations and coordinate pre- and post-deal activities.
• Check vessel suitability for bunkering operations and confirm client requirements.
• Coordinate internal clearances and approvals for planned operations.
• Action sales inputs and integrate them into operational schedules.
• Update team on planned schedules and coordinate with agents and service providers.
• Monitor loading/discharge progress and manage diversions as needed.

The job involves daily oversight of regional bunkering operations for Minerva Bunkering Pte Ltd's Bunker Trading Team, coordinating all aspects of pre- and post-deal trading activities to ensure smooth contract execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking suitability of clients vessels for bunkering operations
• Working on the applicable internal clearances required for each of the planned operations
• Action sales and build into the schedule of operations
• Regularly update other team members of the planned schedule
• Agency coordination
• Managing diversions from schedules
• Monitor progress of the barges during loading/discharge operations
• Send calling instructions to vessels/barges and update internal systems with latest information
• Manage relationship with Internal and External counterparties
• Follow strictly internal procedures and company's policies.
• Strict adherence to company’s Code of Conduct
• Maintain spreadsheets with operational/sales data summary for easy reference for bunkering team
• Assist in customer complaints/disputes cases
• Any other assigned duties

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
• Good planning and organizing skills
• Good communication skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Understanding of technical shipping and maritime terminology
• Effective problem solver and able to proactively anticipate problems
• Able to multi-task and ability to be flexible and work to deadlines under pressure
• Ability to establish good working relationships with relevant counter parties
• Good coordination and planning skills to liaise on tight logistics deadlines
