The role will play a key part in supporting the financial management of a strategic brand segment undergoing growth and transformation. With strong visibility and influence, the position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior brand and corporate leaders, driving performance, profitability, and informed decision-making.
As a trusted business partner to the brand teams, the Brands Finance Manager will provide financial analyses, recommendations, and oversight, while supporting new initiatives and strengthening financial discipline. The role combines strategic impact with hands-on involvement, requiring close collaboration across Marketing, Digital, and Retail teams.
The role reports directly to the Finance Director, based in Barcelona.
Work closely with brand and marketing teams to monitor financial performance and ensure strategic alignment.
Support new brand launches and innovative business models through business plan development and scenario analysis.
Lead financial coordination of brand license agreements, including negotiations, renewals, and compliance in collaboration with legal and business stakeholders.
Monitor royalty flows, minimum investments, and contractual reporting.
Deliver brand-level P&L analysis, monitoring gross margin drivers and marketing investments.
Assess profitability by market, category, and channel, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
Lead the preparation of long-term strategic plans, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts.
Coordinate financial planning for marketing, communication, and product development initiatives.
Prepare KPIs and financial materials for business reviews and leadership presentations.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly closings and reporting
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and strengthen control frameworks.
Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Contribute to transversal projects, providing financial insight to support strategic initiatives.
6–10 years of experience in financial controlling or brand finance within an international environment, ideally in premium consumer goods sector (or similar).
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Fluent in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
Strong analytical and strategic mindset, able to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, comfortable collaborating across functions and levels.
Autonomous, proactive, and rigorous, with a collaborative, solution-oriented attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and SAP.
Understanding of digital business KPIs and performance metrics.
