ALSTOM Gruppe is seeking a Design & Documentation Engineer – Brake Systems in Getafe, Spain to drive design and re‑engineering of brake components using Autodesk Inventor. The role involves defining materials, tooling for assembly, and analyzing pneumatic and hydraulic schemes.

You will create technical instructions, update drawings and BOMs, perform calculations and simulations, and ensure changes comply with ALSTOM's change and configuration management processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Design, Chemical or Materials Engineering.
• English level B2 is required.
• Experience with validation processes.
• Experience with rubber parts, material definition and selection.
• Knowledge of risk analysis and technical instructions for assembly/disassembly.
• Knowledge of machinery design, test benches and the Machinery Directive 2006/42 is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Design and re‑engineering of parts using Autodesk Inventor.
• Define standard/commercial materials and manufacturing materials.
• Design of tools for assembly and disassembly of brake devices.
• Read and interpret manufacturer docs and analyze pneumatic/hydraulic schemes.
• Create risk analysis documents and technical instructions/manuals.
• Prepare monthly project reports and support engineering effort estimates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and update BOMs, drawings and schematics.
• Contribute to Rex capture and dissemination and work with procurement, workshop and logistics teams.
