Alstom is seeking a full-time Brake System Engineer in Getafe (Madrid) to handle system engineering tasks, validate components, and support project management. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, at least 3 years of experience as a railway system engineer, and a B2 level of English. Could you be the full-time Brake System Engineer for Alstom AMETSIS in Getafe (Madrid) we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your system engineering expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You’ll follow technical contact for customer and ensure the internal communication from customer to development. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, validation), support the tender team for GO decision on tender activities (capabilities, safety, legal) and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of specifying the pneumatic architecture and main component selection according to customer requirements and international and company standards, but also defining functional specification for HW and SW needs.
