The Kirby Institute at UNSW Sydney is seeking a Research Fellow (Biostatistician) to lead design, documentation, analysis and reporting of national linked health data projects. Based in Sydney, you will work with investigators and stakeholders to advance population health outcomes.

You will apply advanced statistical methods, contribute to high-quality publications, and collaborate across disciplines in a world‑leading health research environment.

Formación

• A PhD in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• High level skills in STATA, R, SAS, PySpark and Python.
• Experience managing and analysing linked health data and producing statistical analysis plans.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision and publish results.

Responsabilidades

• Design, document, analyse and report on linked and surveillance health data research.
• Apply advanced analytical methods to large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with investigators and stakeholders to inform policy and practice.
• Prepare manuscripts, diagrams and reports; present findings to diverse audiences.
• Strengthen research profile and contribute to data-driven health solutions.
