Job summary

Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) in Barcelona seeks a Healthcare & Research Lawyer to support the Legal Unit in contract drafting, review, and management. You will advise VHIR researchers and units on biomedical research and healthcare matters, helping ensure regulatory compliance across institutional activities.

The role requires a Law Degree and fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English, with at least 1 year in a research environment and experience in contract review or legal analysis.

Qualifications

Law Degree required with professional fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English.
At least 1 year of experience in a research environment.
Experience in contract review, drafting, or legal analysis.
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and amendments for the Legal Unit.
Provide legal advice and support to VHIR’s scientific community on biomedical research and healthcare.
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
