XAL GmbH in Barcelona is seeking a BIM Modeler to shape our digital product data by creating complex parametric Revit lighting product families, developing catalogs, and exporting formats. You will work in an international team to maintain and improve BIM content on XAL.com and BIMobject.com.

The role requires a solid BIM understanding, Revit Family Editor expertise, CAD tool proficiency, and adaptability in a dynamic environment; a background in lighting is advantageous, and on-site

Formación

• Completed technical education or a comparable professional background.
• Solid understanding of BIM concepts and workflows.
• Excellent knowledge of Revit Family Editor.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as Rhinoceros and AutoCAD.
• Experience in the lighting industry is considered an advantage.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements in a dynamic work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Creation of complex parametric Revit lighting product families
• Development and implementation of structured product type catalogs for Revit families
• Export and post-processing of .dwg, .3ds and .obj file formats from existing .rfa models
• Reading and interpreting of technical drawings as well as installation and mounting instructions
• Translation of product features and functionalities into high-quality, application-oriented .rfa files
• Ongoing maintenance, optimization and updating of product libraries and BIM content on XAL.com and BIMobject.com
