A professional services company in Spain is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a hybrid role in Malaga. The candidate must have at least 2 years experience as a Big Data Developer and be fluent in both Spanish and English. Responsibilities include full-lifecycle application development, stakeholder engagement, and code security analysis. Strong skills in Java and ETL processes are essential for this position.

Formación

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Big Data Developer.

Responsibilities
  • Full-lifecycle business application development, from problem analysis and technical solution design through development, testing, and production deployment.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver strategic, user-focused solutions.
  • Perform code optimization and security analysis using threat modeling, SAST, SonarQube, and related tools.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Maintain comprehensive Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) documentation across all project phases using internal tools.
  • Provide incident support, including scheduled interventions and on-call response.
  • Design and execute unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Manage release promotion tools and processes to ensure smooth, controlled deployments.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Big Data Developer.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Advanced proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle PL / SQL, PostgreSQL).
Desirable Skills
  • Spring Boot and OpenShift.
  • Apache Flink.
  • Apache Kafka.
  • Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with AWS S3, Elasticsearch, and Angular.
