Lognext is seeking a talented BI Engineer to join our international team for a multinational financial sector client. You will work on the Global Security Dashboard, handling data behind dashboards, transforming it, defining KPIs and supporting reporting and visualization via Power BI.

The role emphasizes BI/Data expertise, SQL-driven data processing, and collaboration with Technical and Functional Experts in an international environment. English required, B2+.

Formación

• Around 5+ years of experience in BI/Data environments.
• Strong SQL for data processing, transformation and management.
• Experience with Power BI and BI reporting solutions.
• Experience with datasets and backend processes feeding dashboards.
• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft BI ecosystem (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
• Good English, minimum B2.
• Experience with cybersecurity data or projects.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management concepts.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tanium or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Evolve and transform the Security Dashboard solution.

• Participate in redesign and continuous improvement of the dashboard and data processes.
• Monitor progress and report developments to the manager and Team Lead.
• Keep technical and functional documentation up to date.

We are looking for a talented BI Engineer to join our team and work on a project for a leading multinational company in the financial sector.

You will join an international team working on the evolution of a Global Security Dashboard. This is a technical BI/Data role focused on working with the data behind the dashboards: processing and transforming information, preparing the backend, defining KPIs and supporting reporting and visualisation through Power BI.

Cybersecurity is the business domain of the project, but you do not need to be a cybersecurity specialist. The priority is having a strong BI/Data background and being comfortable working with technical and functional stakeholders when required.

What will your main responsibilities be?

• Work on the evolution and transformation of the current Security Dashboard solution
• Use SQL extensively to process, manage and transform the data used by the dashboards
• Work on the backend processes and data preparation required to feed reporting and visualisation solutions
• Build and maintain reporting and visualisation solutions using Power BI
• Define, produce and implement KPIs used for security monitoring, management and reporting
• Analyse technical and functional needs related to the evolution of the current BI solution
• Work with Python and other technologies within the existing technical stack
• Support the deployment of the Security Dashboard across different Production Security entities
• Collaborate with Technical Experts, Functional Experts, Product Owners and users to clarify requirements when needed
• Participate in the redesign and continuous improvement of the dashboard and its underlying data processes
• Monitor the progress of assigned activities and report developments to the manager and Team Lead
• Keep technical and functional documentation related to the solution up to date

What are we looking for? Essential Skills:

• Around 5+ years of experience in BI/Data environments
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data processing, transformation and management
• Experience working with Power BI and BI reporting solutions
• Experience working with datasets, data transformation and the backend processes that feed dashboards
• Experience working with Python
• Experience or knowledge of the Microsoft BI ecosystem, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
• Good communication skills and ability to work within an international team
• Good level of English, minimum B2
• Previous experience working with cybersecurity-related data or projects
• Knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Patch Management concepts
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tanium or similar tools, particularly understanding the type of information they generate
