Amazon EU SARL (Spain Branch) is seeking a talented BI Engineer to join a fast-paced team focused on expanding customer and selling partner experiences across markets. This role embraces a Day-1 mindset and a culture of innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will partner with program managers and account managers, design automated reporting, build scalable ETL pipelines, and leverage AWS tools to deliver insights at scale.

Formación

• Experience analyzing and interpreting data across data warehouses and BI platforms.
• Strong SQL and scripting skills (Python) for data processing and modeling.
• Experience building scalable ETL pipelines and dashboards for enterprise goals.
• Hands-on data warehousing, dimensional modeling and data governance knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with program managers and account managers to analyze data and drive business goals.
• Design and implement automated reporting to enable adoption of programs and initiatives.
• Develop and monitor business metrics; identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with BI engineers to adopt best practices; promote automation and self-serve dashboards.

Key job responsibilities

• Partner with program managers & Account managers and dive deep on data to address business problems and drive business goals
• Design and implement automated reporting solutions to enable Program Managers/AMs to drive the adoption of various programs /initiatives
• Develop and monitor the business metrics, while partnering with internal and external teams to identify process improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with other BI engineers/teams to adopt best practices.
• Fostering culture of continuous improvement through automation and self serve dashboards
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and ETL pipelines to support business intelligence initiatives using automated dashboard solutions
• Leverage AI and emerging innovation in data infrastructure to automate repetitive workflows, accelerate analyses, and unlock new patterns from complex datasets
• Mentoring and contributing to team's improvement

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
• Experience in analytics, data engineering or business intelligence from a large scale business enterprise

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
• Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
• Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
• Experience working as a BIE in a technology company
• Experience with Python or R
