Job summary
The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a BESS Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across the lifecycle of utility-scale energy storage projects in Europe.
You will guide engineering design, ensure compliance with standards, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help drive delivery from feasibility to handover.
The role requires a degree in electrical engineering and 3-5 years in renewable energy, with CAD experience and knowledge of grid integration.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
- 3-5 years in renewable energy or energy storage.
- Experience with electrical grids and utility-scale projects preferred.
- Familiarity with permitting and technical documentation is advantageous.
- Exposure to EPC or utilities is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development and engineering design of BESS projects.
- Prepare and review technical docs, layouts, drawings, and packages.
- Monitor technical quality, progress, and compliance during delivery.
- Act as technical owner for BESS layouts and standards.
- Collaborate with project, procurement, development, and construction teams.
- Evaluate equipment suppliers and support due diligence and contracts.
- Advance engineering methodologies, tools, templates, and standards.
- Contribute to lessons-learned and implement best practices across projects.
