Job summary

Airbus Helicopters España, SA invites recent graduates to join an 11-month engineering internship in Albacete, Spain. The program combines study grants with hands-on production experience in helicopter manufacturing and integration, working 40 hours per week, starting in February 2027 and ending January 2028.

You will collaborate with shopfloor teams, support continuous improvement, and gain exposure to design data and manufacturing interfaces in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Aerospace/Industrial engineering background.
• Programming and project management skills are a strong asset.
• Effective communication in English and Spanish is required.

Ready to join one of our Graduate Programs in Spain? We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

Starting date February 1st 2027 until January 31st 2028. The selection process will take place from November 2026 to December 2026.

What does this internship consist of? Together with Nebrija University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge considered to be essential in order to grow into professionals of the future. You will have the opportunity to study a training program, that will allow you to develop the most in-demand skills today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background. The start of the internship will be in early February 2027, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Challenges and Responsibilities

What’s in for you: Helicopters will be part of your day-to-day and you will join our manufacturing world.

What do we do?

We assemble and test AIRBUS Helicopters rear fuselages, and develop FAL/Pre-FAL concept on governmental Programs. We analyze and solve production issues, preventing assembly line impacts and erradicating recurrency.

We are in permanent contact with the shopfloor and operators, who work hand in hand with our helicopters. We constantly provide data-driven improvement solutions to the shopfloor.

Your impact

You will help with the running of daily operations. You will support our industrialization process, bridging design data to manufacturing, and collaborating with the design office to influence product architecture. You will ensure efficient workflow and accurate execution, by producing robust documentation and supporting change management in production. You will be applying continuous improvement to meet Industrial Excellence goals.

Skills

Aerospace/Industrial engineering profile.

Ability to apply a Digital approach to an Industrial environment. Curious and rigorous, enthusiastic and constant. Plus, a great team player. Diverse academic and non-academic background. Programming and project management skills would be a strong asset. Effective communication in Spanish and English is required (French/German as a plus). Not a 100% match? No worries!
