Job summary

Novartis in Barcelona is seeking a Trial Vendor Manager (TVM) to lead vendor oversight across central labs, eCOA/ePRO, imaging, and other service areas within the Clinical Trial Team. This hybrid role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on delivering study outcomes on time and within budget.

This position requires a life sciences degree and at least 3 years of clinical operations experience, with strong knowledge of GxP/ICH, vendor contracting, and KPI-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent (essential).
• Minimum of 3 years' clinical operations experience with vendor oversight.
• Strong knowledge of GxP and ICH regulations.
• Experience in contracting, budget tracking, and vendor performance management.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for vendor service delivery at the study level.
• Provide end-to-end operational oversight of vendor deliverables.
• Review protocol sections and translate requirements into vendor specs and SOWs.
• Oversee vendor financials including forecasting and invoice reconciliation.
• Lead UAT activities for vendor systems and drive site activation from a vendor perspective.
