g2 Recruitment is seeking a senior Freelance Project Director to lead a large-scale data center project in Barcelona. You will own the programme from design through commissioning, working with the General Contractor, consultants and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

• Previous data center project experience in Spain is required.
• Fluent English; Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
• Senior, hands-on leadership with strong commercial awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Overall project leadership from design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Full responsibility for programme understanding, control and challenge.
• Day-to-day management and coordination of the General Contractor.
• Supporting and challenging the GC to ensure schedule, quality and cost targets are met.
• Cost awareness and support, including reporting and change management.
• Regular reporting to senior stakeholders and executive management.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Director on data center projects.
• Demonstrated track record managing full lifecycle projects.
