Job summary

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is seeking an Event Project Coordinator Intern in Barcelona to help plan and coordinate events for diverse audiences. You will support activities from conception to debrief, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and ensuring smooth participant experiences in an international setting.

You will work under supervision to develop practical coordination skills, gain exposure to event planning, budgeting, and logistics, and contribute to projects ranging from

• You are studying events, communications, tourism or project management.
• You enjoy organizing projects and coordinating different stakeholders.
• You are thorough when tracking deadlines, budgets and logistical details.

Responsibilities

• Concept development: contribute to event formats, objectives and programs.
• Planning: map out preparation stages and track deadlines.
• Suppliers: research venues and suppliers, compare proposals; follow up on discussions.
• Budget: prepare estimates and track spending with supervisor approval.
• Communications: prepare invitations, materials and practical information for participants.
• Logistics: coordinate registrations, equipment and speaker requirements.
• Event delivery: support reception, schedule management and responses to issues.
• Debrief: gather feedback and review participation, costs and potential improvements.
