OMODA & JAECOO Motors, part of the Chery Group, is seeking a Senior Material Planner to drive material planning, inventory control, and supplier logistics in our Barcelona-based European HQ. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability and production continuity.

The role requires at least 5 years in material planning, SAP MRP experience, and fluent Spanish with English for system operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in material planning and tracking.
• Proven experience in global material planning, material order release, and delivery tracking is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive component production and delivery models.
• Fluent Spanish for daily communication with local plants and suppliers; Business-level English for system operations and HQ coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Consolidate inputs from commercial and regional teams to develop and release mid- and long-term demand forecasts for localized EU parts and non-EU parts.
• Convert sales forecasts and system requirements into material demand plans and release material requirements to suppliers.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries based on OEM production schedules to ensure timely material availability.
• Release material orders according to system requirements and production needs.
• Monitor daily material supply status and track the transportation progress of localized parts to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Analyze inventory coverage days and adjust safety stock levels to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Track delivery progress of critical components and support production continuity through escalation and coordination.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve supply risks and unexpected events.
• Manage supplier logistics performance and assist with inquiries related to material orders and deliveries.
• Coordinate engineering change implementation with suppliers and manage transitions.
