Scopely is seeking a Director of Live Roadmap & Release Operations to oversee MONOPOLY GO!’s live roadmap and release ecosystem from Barcelona on a hybrid basis. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, own governance, risk assessment, and tooling to ensure reliable live releases at scale.

Formación

• Significant experience leading live operations, release management, or related function in a live‑service environment.
• Demonstrated experience owning or influencing high‑frequency releases across multiple teams and dependencies.
• Strong operational judgment balancing delivery speed, technical risk, player experience, and business priorities.
• Technical fluency in software delivery, production environments, deployment workflows, validation, monitoring, rollback, and incident response.
• Experience partnering with Engineering on release tooling, automation, and production systems.

Responsabilidades

• Own the operating health of the live roadmap, ensuring priorities, sequencing, dependencies, capacity, and release plans are realistic and executable.
• Establish and evolve end‑to‑end operating model from roadmap to post‑release review.
• Lead release governance, gates, ownership, go/no‑go, escalation paths, rollback planning, and post‑release validation.
• Coordinate complex, high‑frequency live releases across Product, Engineering, Live Ops, Production, QA, Content and partners.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation and clear decision‑making.
• Partner with engineering to improve deployment pipelines, tooling, observability, dashboards, automation, and operational tooling.
• Translate operational needs into technical requirements and prioritise tooling and platform improvements to reduce manual work.
• Establish metrics and reporting for roadmap health, release readiness, incidents, and time to resolution.
• Improve workflows by removing handoffs, clarifying ownership, and increasing automation.
• Step into critical launches or incidents to drive rapid resolution with cross‑functional coordination.
• Lead operational change so new processes and tooling become embedded, not just introduced.
• Build trusted partnerships with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Production, QA, Data, and Live Ops.
• Mentor Producers, Release Managers, Engineering Managers, and other operational leaders in live delivery.
