Grifols is seeking an IT Business Continuity Systems Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure Core & Services division. The role focuses on data protection, backup governance, and regulatory compliance across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will act as SME, coordinate with MSPs, and drive improvements in service quality and audit readiness while maintaining documentation and standards.

Formación

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–10 years in administration and management of backup and data protection platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of backup tools: Dell NetWorker, PPDM, Veeam, Commvault.
• Experience with on-premises and cloud backup environments is preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments and audit-driven organizations is desirable.
• Strong quality, validation and regulatory compliance understanding.
• Proficient in English and Spanish; able to coordinate across teams and vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Act as SME for backup, data protection, and compliance topics.
• Provide guidance to infrastructure teams on backup solutions across environments.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to manage data protection platforms lifecycle.
• Define and implement solutions aligned with regulatory standards.
• Lead workshops to integrate backup solutions into the tech landscape.
• Maintain technical and functional documentation for data protection services.
• Serve as primary contact for audit activities and evidence management.
• Support audits by handling deviations and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer between backup and other areas.
• Manage service demand with project teams and vendors.
• Oversee transition of new projects into managed services.
• Monitor major incidents and issues handled by external providers.
