Ideal candidates will have expertise in NET C# and experience with cloud and web technologies; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Backend Developer based in Barcelona. You will work on designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems and APIs, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with project requirements. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate front‑end and backend components and contribute to software design discussions. The role also includes debugging and maintaining existing applications while staying current with new technologies and development best practices, and encouraging code review to ensure the maintenance of high‑quality code and fostering knowledge sharing.

• Building dynamic and high performance state‑of‑the‑art transactional web sites for the world’s biggest sporting events.
• Optimising performance and improving scalability of our systems.
• Encouraging code review to ensure the maintenance of high‑quality code.

• NET C#
• Vue.js 2-3, Javascript, Typescript (nice to have)
• Docker
• Understanding of Razor and C#.
• Understanding of programming best practices, such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, linting, and unit testing.
• Proficiency in navigating coding integrated development environments such as Visual Studio 2022, Visual Studio Code, or JetBrains Rider.
• Real‑world experience in extending Umbraco BackOffice, including property editors, Surface Controllers, API Controllers, Authorized Controllers, Render Controllers, Model Builder, Examine Indexing, etc.
• Google Analytics / Tag Manager tagging and implementation.
• Experience with Salesforce integration (nice to have).
• Accustomed to working in English.
• Arabic as an additional language is a distinct advantage.
