Betsson Group is seeking a Backend Engineering Team Lead in Málaga to guide a talented team delivering next-generation Engagement products. You will drive delivery, foster a healthy team culture, and actively contribute as a developer.

The role blends leadership with hands-on software design and implementation in the iGaming domain. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, proven team management experience, and strong C#/.NET expertise.

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Agile mindset with business goals orientation.
• Expertise in C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, overseeing performance and development.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverables.
• Develop software following modern best practices and code quality standards.
• Influence architectural design, solution development and code reviews.

Our Campaigns and Rewards team in Malaga is growing and we are now looking for a Backend Engineering Team Lead to join! Engagement at Betsson Group ensures our customers come back for more. The Wow

As a Team Lead at Betsson Group, you will lead a team of talented people and take overall responsibility for team performance. As the Team Lead, you will take an active role in driving the delivery of your team and promoting a healthy team spirit and culture. You will also participate as a developer in designing and developing next generation Engagement products for the iGaming industry.

A taster of what you will be involved with:

• People management, mentoring and coaching developers, taking part in recruiting and onboarding, performance reviews, personal development planning and 1-to-1’s.
• Close collaboration with Product Managers, Architects, and Stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
• Software development according to modern best practices and principles.
• Taking part in the decision-making process for design or improvement of application architecture, solution development, architecture, and code review.

What we are looking for

• Experience in software development for more than 5 years
• Experience of managing teams of software engineers
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Agile mindset, business goals orientation
• Excellent knowledge and experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
