Betsson Group in Malaga is seeking a Backend Engineering Team Lead to mentor a team of developers and drive delivery of engagement products for iGaming. You will partner with product managers and architects to translate business needs into robust software solutions.

The role combines hands-on development with leadership, focusing on modern practices, architecture decisions, and team health in a hybrid work setup.

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience leading teams of software engineers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Agile mindset with business goals orientation.
• Excellent knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.

Responsabilidades

• People management, mentoring and coaching developers, taking part in recruiting and onboarding, performance reviews, personal development planning and 1-to-1’s.
• Close collaboration with Product Managers, Architects, and Stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
• Software development according to modern best practices and principles.
• Taking part in the decision-making process for design or improvement of application architecture, solution development, architecture, and code review.

As a Team Lead at Betsson Group, you will lead a team of talented people and take overall responsibility for team performance. As the Team Lead, you will take an active role in driving the delivery of your team and promoting a healthy team spirit and culture. You will also participate as a developer in designing and developing next generation Engagement products for the iGaming industry.

A taster of what you will be involved with:

• Experience of managing teams of software engineers
