N26 is seeking a Backend Engineer to join the Investments team. You will write high-quality Kotlin code, deploy, fix bugs, and take features from concept to production with minimal supervision.

You will partner with Product Managers during discovery, challenge the status quo, and share learnings from GSDD projects. The role offers autonomy and exposure to cutting-edge tech in a fast-paced fintech environment.

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer taking features from concept to production.

Responsabilidades

• Write high-quality, production-ready code (primarily Kotlin).
• Handle deployment, bug fixing and incidents with independence from concept to production.
• Act as sparring partner for Product Managers during product discovery.
• Question the status quo by asking why and is there a simpler way.
• Identify knowledge gaps and address technical problems proactively.
• Share learnings from GSDD projects with the wider team.
• Be flexible as the role evolves and requires broad contributions.
