ING is seeking a Software Backend Engineer in Madrid to design, develop and test backend components across microservices using Java 8/11/17/21 and Spring Framework. You will ensure quality, performance and production readiness, while collaborating with cross-functional squads and maintaining strong documentation and DevOps practices.
The role requires strong English skills, experience with containers, cloud pipelines, and modern architectural patterns.
Formación
- Essential: strong coding skills on middleware layer; Java stack; Spring Framework and microservices.
- Experience with testing strategies including unit and contract testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps).
- Excellent English communication skills.
Responsabilidades
- Design, implement, test and maintain backend services to meet requirements.
- Deliver production-ready software with proper documentation and configurations.
- Support production by debugging and resolving incidents.
- Collaborate across squads to improve technical discipline and architecture.
- Contribute to design patterns and code quality improvements.
