Job summary

King is seeking a versatile Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs used across multiple games and platforms. You will work on distributed systems, data flows, and integration points with Player Support, game teams, and internal platforms.

You’ll contribute to architecture, testing, and production operations while embracing automation, CI/CD, and modern deployment practices. English communication is essential for collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong backend foundations and experience with Java or other backend languages.
• Experience building scalable backend services and APIs.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment practices.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software used across multiple King games and services.
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, and reusable platform components.
• Design integrations and data flows across Player Support, game, and internal platform systems.
• Own features from design through testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Improve scalability, resilience, observability, and maintainability of existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• Improve software quality through automation and CI/CD practices.
• Explore and integrate AI capabilities into products and workflows.
• Share knowledge and grow the engineering culture.
