Camlin Group in Spain seeks a Backend Software Engineer to design and build scalable microservices that process energy data from IoT devices. You will help ensure performance and reliability across the platform.

You will collaborate with frontend, data, DevOps, and product teams, implementing REST APIs with FastAPI, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and SQL databases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer.
• Experience designing REST APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Proficient with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Understanding of modern deployment infrastructure and SDLC.
• Fluent English written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop scalable backend microservices.
• Maintain applications and migrate to modern Python frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated unit and component tests.
• Contribute to Camlin's development strategies and direction.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and technical discussions.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Design secure architectures and security best practices.
