Tamarind Intelligence is seeking a Backend Developer to own backend development for a health-tech product connecting patients, insurers and doctors. You will work autonomously in a small team, building the back office with Node.js and TypeScript.

Requirements include strong Node.js/TypeScript experience, SQL/MariaDB knowledge, Docker, Kubernetes and Git, and familiarity with external APIs and SSO. Spanish fluency is required, English is valued, and French is a plus.

We are working with a leading French health-tech group, one of the major players in information systems for the Healthcare sector, with close to 6,000 employees across more than 10 countries.

This position is part of a small, highly operational team working on a product that connects patients, insurance companies and doctors, particularly specialists.The product integrates with external insurance company APIs as well as internal corporate modules, including single sign-on.

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join a small, close-knit team and take ownership of backend development, working with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Develop (not just maintain) the back office of the product, using Node.js.

• Work autonomously within a small team, making technical decisions independently.

• Integrate and maintain connections with external APIs (insurance companies) and internal modules (corporate services, single sign-on).

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and QA, and coordinate occasionally with other internal teams on authentication-related topics.

• Participate in integration testing, combining automated and manual testing practices.

• Use AI tools daily to support development (e.g., Copilot, Cursor AI).

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Backend Developer with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Working knowledge of SQL / relational databases (MariaDB or similar).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Git.

• Experience integrating external APIs and working with authentication/SSO flows is a plus.

• Knowledge of Angular is a plus.

• Ability to work autonomously and take technical decisions without close supervision.

• Fluent Spanish (required). English is valued. French is not required but considered a strong plus.
