Omega CRM is seeking a Backend Developer with Node.js and TypeScript to build robust RESTful APIs and services. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, design and optimize database models in PostgreSQL, and implement caching with Redis.

The role emphasizes code quality and documentation, within an established Microsoft tech ecosystem. The position offers a permanent contract and flexible scheduling.

Formación

• 3-4 years of backend/software developer experience.
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript with RESTful API development using Express.js.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions during client-facing engagements.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL data modeling, triggers and functions.
• Hands-on Redis for session management and caching.
• Familiarity with software quality standards and documenting technical work.

Omega CRM is a Merkle & Dentsu company, leader in development of Customer Experience services, with +20 years of experience in the use of Technology applied to Marketing and providing a unique Customer Relationship with mainly focus on Innovation is looking for a Backend Developer (Node.js/TypeScript)

Main responsabilities:

• Requirements analysis.
• Participate in the technical design of projects.
• Estimate effort for projects.
• Work collaboratively with the rest of the Omega team and/or the client to help achieve project objectives.
• Provide support and resolve technical issues to ensure system security and performance.
• Collaborate with technology providers when required by the project.
• Document processes and track system performance metrics.
• Validate and test the technical solution against business requirements.
• Adhere to the software quality standards agreed upon with Omega's Technical Management.
• Generate technical documentation for completed projects.
• Apply best practices and procedures to ensure projects are executed on time and with the highest quality.

Requirements & Experience

• Role Experience: 3-4 years of proven experience in a similar Backend / Software Developer role.
• Backend Expertise: Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript, including the development of RESTful APIs and working with Express.js.
• Communication & Consulting: Proven experience in client-facing roles, acting as a key point of contact to translate business requirements into technical solutions, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
• Database Management: Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL (specifically in data modeling, database triggers, and functions).
• Caching & Performance: Hands-on experience using Redis for session management and caching.
• Best Practices: Familiarity with software quality standards and technical documentation.

Desirable / Value-Add Skills (Pluses)

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with Heroku Platform, familiarity with AWS services (S3, Route 53), and understanding of TLS certificates management.
• Architecture & Frontend: Experience with Monorepo architectures and knowledge of Angular and Ionic.
• Languages: Professional working proficiency in English is a strong plus (capable of handling business communication).
