adesso Spain is seeking curious, passionate technologists to join an international, high-performing engineering team in Barcelona. You’ll contribute to every stage of the software lifecycle, from design and architecture to implementation and delivery, on technically demanding projects that value quality, performance, and scalability.

You’ll work in a hybrid Barcelona setup with periodic trips to Germany to bond the cross-border team, and you’ll benefit from personalized development plans,

Formación

• Solid experience with Java 17+ and Spring (Boot, Security, Cloud...).
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs with strong unit testing and CI/CD.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures, including messaging and streaming platforms.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in cloud-native environments.
• Experience leveraging AI and Generative AI solutions, including AI integrations and AI-assisted software development.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience with Java 17+, Spring (Boot, Security, Cloud...) and Angular / TypeScript.


• Proven experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs, with a strong focus on quality through unit testing and CI/CD best practices.


• Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures, including message brokers, streaming platforms, and scalable distributed systems.


• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in cloud-native environments.


• Practical experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions, including AI integrations, automation use cases, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted software development.


• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
