Kyndryl is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to help design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, integrating cloud services with on‑prem environments. You will enable AI-ready platforms on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and automate infrastructure using Terraform, while contributing to CI/CD and deployment projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with networking, Linux/Windows systems, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and cloud security.

Formación

• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (2–4 years).
• Networking, VPC/VNet, DNS, VPN, load balancers, storage.
• Terraform or similar IaC; scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Kubernetes and OpenShift; container platforms.
• CI/CD, Git, automation and DevOps practices.
• Observability: logging and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of AI/AI cloud services and AI-ready architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy and configure hybrid/multi-cloud platforms and on‑prem integration.
• Implement Enterprise Landing Zones, networks, identities and shared services.
• Automate infrastructure deployments with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

The Role

1. Implantación de Plataformas Cloud

• Participar en la implantación de arquitecturas híbridas y multicloud, integrando servicios cloud con entornos on-premises conforme a los diseños definidos por los Cloud Architects.
• Implementar Enterprise Landing Zones, redes, identidades y servicios compartidos sobre AWS, Azure o Google Cloud.
• Desplegar plataformas Cloud AI-Ready, habilitando los servicios de datos, infraestructura y capacidades necesarias para soportar soluciones de Inteligencia Artificial y Machine Learning, de acuerdo con la arquitectura definida.
• Automatizar el despliegue de infraestructura mediante Terraform y herramientas CI/CD.
• Participar en proyectos de migración, modernización e integración de aplicaciones hacia la nube.

2. Ejecución Técnica y Soporte a Proyectos

• Desarrollar las configuraciones técnicas e integraciones necesarias para el despliegue de plataformas y servicios cloud.
• Participar en revisiones técnicas, validaciones de arquitectura y actividades de integración, aportando conocimiento práctico sobre los servicios del hyperscaler.
• Proporcionar soporte técnico especializado a los equipos de delivery durante las fases de implantación, migración y puesta en producción.
• Colaborar en la validación técnica de las soluciones implantadas, asegurando su alineamiento con la arquitectura definida y las mejores prácticas establecidas.
• Generar la documentación técnica y los entregables del proyecto, colaborando con el Cloud Architect y los equipos técnicos para garantizar la correcta implantación y transferencia de conocimientos.

3. Automatización y Mejora Continua

• Desarrollar y mantener módulos reutilizables de Infrastructure as Code.
• Desarrollar scripts y automatizaciones que faciliten el despliegue, configuración e integración de servicios cloud.
• Participar en la evolución de pipelines DevOps y procesos CI/CD.
• Colaborar en la definición y aplicación de estándares técnicos, buenas prácticas y activos reutilizables de la práctica Cloud.

Who You Are

Conocimientos Técnicos Esenciales:

• Experiencia Cloud demostrable: 2-4 años trabajando con AWS, Microsoft Azure o Google Cloud.
• Infraestructura: Conocimientos de redes, VPC/VNet, DNS, VPN, balanceadores, almacenamiento y sistemas Linux/Windows.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experiencia práctica con Terraform (CloudFormation, ARM o Bicep valorable).
• Containers: Conocimientos de Kubernetes, OpenShift y plataformas de contenedores.
• DevOps: Experiencia con Git, CI/CD y herramientas de automatización.
• Scripting: Python, Bash o PowerShell.
• Observabilidad: Conocimientos de Logging, Monitoring y herramientas de observabilidad.
• Conocimientos de plataformas de datos e Inteligencia Artificial: en la nube (Azure AI, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI o equivalentes), así como de arquitecturas AI-Ready y servicios gestionados para IA Generativa y Machine Learning.
• Seguridad: Conocimientos de IAM, controles de seguridad cloud y buenas prácticas de hardening.
