CAE is seeking a Test Project Engineer to support onboard software applications for the CF-18 fighter, developing requirements, test plans, and procedures. You will execute tests across benches, simulators, and aircraft, report anomalies, and aid software qualification prior to fleet deployment.

Collaboration with pilots and multidisciplinary teams is essential, with on-site work in Mirabel 2–3 times per week.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
0–2 years of professional experience.
Programming experience with C and C++.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate in English and French.

Mansioni

Serve as a Test Project Engineer supporting onboard software applications for the CF-18 fighter aircraft.
Develop technical requirements in collaboration with the client.
Develop test plans and write/code test procedures.
Execute tests on avionics benches, integrated benches, full simulators, and aircraft.
Identify, document, and report anomalies and support software qualification prior to deployment to the CF-18 fleet.
Support testing improvements and/or design of new functionality for onboard software applications.
Collaborate with CF-18 pilots and multidisciplinary teams; may support on-site Canadian Armed Forces exercises in Mirabel.
