Airbus Defence and Space in Madrid offers an internship (curricular practicum) program for students in their final year of studies. You will prepare a final year project titled “Characterising embedded processors for avionics use cases” and participate in a 6‑month practicum from February to July 2027, with 5h per day (25h/week) and tutor supervision.

• Pursuing a relevant engineering degree; last year of study.
• English B2 level (C1 desirable).
• Spanish B1 level required.
• Knowledge of C programming, computer architecture and Linux.
• Familiarity with Python scripting, embedded boards or programmable logic.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Interest in safety‑critical systems and AI on embedded devices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Team spirit and ability to work in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare a final year training project that completes official studies.
• Collaborate on an embedded processors evaluation for avionics use cases.
• Develop test and benchmarking tools to assess performance and reliability.
• Carry out the platform bring‑up and experimentation with an industrial board.
