We are looking for an Avionics Architect to join projects focused on the definition, integration, and technical leadership of avionics solutions for space mission.
What will you do?
- Define and maintain the avionics architecture for space systems, ensuring alignment with mission requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ECSS and ESA space standards across avionics design and integration.
- Manage and coordinate external equipment suppliers, including technical follow-up and interfaces.
- Define, review, and control Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Design and supervise time distribution architectures within spacecraft systems.
- Work with space-qualified communication buses such as SpaceWire, CAN, and RS422, ensuring correct implementation and performance.
- Provide technical leadership in avionics-related decisions and system trade-offs.
- Review and validate technical documentation to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience ensuring compliance with ECSS and/or ESA space standards.
- Hands-on experience managing external suppliers and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Deep technical knowledge of time distribution methodologies in space systems.
- Expertise in space-qualified communication bus architectures such as SpaceWire, CAN, and RS422.
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience working under ECSS standards and a high level of English.
