Novelty Spain, a leading European company in technical audiovisual production for events, is seeking an AV Production Manager for its Barcelona office. The role involves designing and prepping events, coordinating gear, crew, and vendors, and ensuring top-tier on-site production and client satisfaction.

You should bring a strong 7-year track record in AV/event production, plus fluency in English and Spanish (French a plus), and a solid background in production management.

Formación

• Strong technical knowledge of video, lighting & audio equipment is a MUST.
• Minimum 7 years experience.
• Native level of English and Spanish; French a plus.
• Background in production & management.
• Strong working knowledge of event production.
• Comfortable with AutoCAD, MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Design and prep all events with the production team, including gear and crewing lists.
• Perform site visits with clients and event teams.
• Collaborate with sales to understand client needs and requirements.
• Ensure crew and gear are requested for lighting and AV events.
• Coordinate with freelance technical staff for each job.
• Coordinate with other vendors to ensure a smooth onsite environment.
• Oversee production staff at event locations and meet client needs.
• Manage inventory and rentals with the shop and vendors when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and staging gear.

What will be your mission in the company?

• Working with our production team and to design and prep all events, including the creation of gear and crewing lists.
• Perform site visits with clients and event teams.
• Work closely with sales team and to understand client needs and requirements.
• Checking that the necessary crew and gear is requested for lighting & AV events.
• Coordinating with our freelance technical staff on what is expected of them for each job.
• Coordinating with other related vendors to make sure there is a smooth onsite working environment.
• Oversee production staff on event locations and ensure client production needs are met.
• Work with our shop to manage company inventory and rentals from vendors when necessary.
• Maintain a working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and staging gear. (Please note that only experienced technicians in AV with a minimum of 7 years in the field will be taken in consideration).

What do we need?

• A very strong technical knowledge of video, lighting & audio equipment is a MUST.
• Native level of English and Spanish. French would be a plus.
• A background in production & management.
• Strong working knowledge of event production.
• Strong computer knowledge including Autocad, MS Office.
• Comfortable with working with database software.
• Minimum 7 years experience.
