Project Description: Development of simulation and predictive applications for waiting lists, appointment schedules, quality of life analysis, and management in radiotherapy oncology.

Research Line: IBIMA-BE-17 CLINICAL, MOLECULAR, AND TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH IN RADIOTHERAPY ONCOLOGY

Location: IBIMA Bionand Platform - Located at Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital, Radiotherapy Oncology Unit.

• Participation in research projects in the health and biomedical field (1.5 points)
• Knowledge in Programming; algorithms, data structures, programming, problem-solving with computers, and basics of scientific programming. (1 point)
• Knowledge of programs: Jamovi, SPSS, R, Excel, Python (1.5 points)
• Knowledge in Methods, Designs, and research techniques. (0.5 points)
• Knowledge in psychology; especially in social structures and understanding clinical language. (1.5 points)
• Knowledge in Psychometrics; Construction and evaluation of psychological tests. (1 point)

The mentioned requirements must be accredited with an official certificate issued by the competent authority or a responsible statement.

Specific Requirements

• English level B2
• Certification in Python
• Experience in biomedical research, research methodology and design, programming, and statistical data analysis.

Selection process

• Based on the points obtained in the merits evaluation, at least the three best candidates will be selected for a personal interview where communication skills, work aptitude, and abilities will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. Only candidates who score at least 50% of the evaluable merits will be eligible for the interview phase.
• After the position is awarded, if the selected candidate declines the contract, the hiring committee may decide to choose the next candidate according to the scoring list.
