BCNC GROUP, an engineering and technology firm with operations in Spain, UK, Germany, France and Sweden, is seeking a Category Buyer to oversee automotive-related external services from Madrid. You will develop strategic sourcing, lead RFx processes, manage supplier performance, and drive cost, quality, and risk improvements on global projects.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement or category management, SAP/Power BI proficiency, and fluent English.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain or Category Management.
• Strong experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, SRM and category strategy development.
• Experience in indirect service categories such as IT & Telecommunications, Professional Services, HR, Facility Management, Logistics or Consulting Services.
• Proficiency in SAP, Power BI and Microsoft 365; fluent English is required; German is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for external service categories.
• Lead supplier selection and evaluation processes through RFI, RFQ and RFP, including commercial and contract negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, identifying improvement, consolidation, and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Drive cost optimization and value creation initiatives, including TCO analysis, savings tracking, and procurement KPIs.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, HR, Operations, Legal and Quality to translate business needs into effective procurement strategies.
