GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to drive the deployment of automation and Adaptive Technology solutions across our Spain logistics operations.

This hands-on role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations and innovation on the warehouse floor. You will assess operations, design practical automation, lead projects end-to-end, coordinate vendors, and hand over stabilized processes to BAU.

Formación

• 3-5 years deploying large-scale automation in logistics or operational environments
• On-site execution experience in live operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsabilidades

• Assess existing warehouse operations to identify automation opportunities.
• Analyze processes, layouts and operational constraints in live environments.
• Design practical automation solutions adapted to real operational conditions.
• Collaborate with European Automation & Adaptive Technology teams and local engineering teams.
• Lead automation project execution on the warehouse floor from installation to go-live.
• Coordinate vendors and integrators during deployment and ramp‑up.
• Support stabilization and full handover to Operations (BAU).
• Capture lessons learned and share best practices across GXO sites.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

Education:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• Project Management experience is a plus.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience deploying large-scale automation in logistics or operational environments.
• Proven on-site execution experience in live operations.
