Toyota Automated Logistics (TAL) in Madrid seeks a Systems Engineer to lead technical definition, design and execution of automated intralogistics projects across pre-contract and execution phases. You will collaborate with Sales, Project Management, customers and suppliers to develop robust, cost-effective solutions.

This full-time hybrid role requires strong knowledge of AMH, AMR, AutoStore, WES/WCS, and CAD tools, with coordination across international teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related field.
• Experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation or industrial automation.
• Experience in engineering, systems design or solution development roles.
• Experience with international projects is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze customer data to develop optimized automation solutions.
• Perform system simulations to validate proposed designs.
• Design automated systems using CAD and engineering tools.

As a System Engineer at TAL, you will be responsible or the technical definition, design and successful execution of automated intralogistics projects throughout both the pre-contract and execution phases.
Acting as the technical expert, the Systems Engineer works closely with Sales, Project Management, customers and suppliers to develop innovative, cost-effective and technically robust solutions.
This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Madrid.

Your impact

SALES

• Analyze customer operational and logistics data to develop optimized automation solutions.
• Perform system simulations to validate proposed designs.
• Design automated systems using CAD and engineering tools.
• Develop technical concepts that balance performance, cost and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales teams to prepare competitive technical proposals.
• Support supplier selection and technical evaluations.
• Prepare execution strategies, project plans and Gantt schedules.
• Validate the overall solution considering technical design, suppliers, execution plan and financial viability.
• Act as the technical expert during customer presentations and solution reviews.

PROJECTS EXECUTION

• Validate engineering documentation before manufacturing and implementation.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
• Coordinate technical activities between engineering, suppliers and project teams.
• Ensure technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support installation, commissioning and system go-live.
• Provide technical guidance during testing, validation and acceptance phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, material handling systems or industrial automation.
• Experience working in engineering, systems design or solution development roles.
• Experience with international projects is considered an advantage.
