Placements24 is seeking an Especialista en Ciberseguridad Blockchain for our León office. You will audit smart contracts and dApps, identify vulnerabilities, and guide remediation across diverse blockchain projects.

Applicants should have 3+ years in cybersecurity with blockchain focus, Solidity expertise, and a knack for detailed security reporting. This role emphasizes independent work in a fast-evolving crypto space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on blockchain and smart contract auditing.
• Strong knowledge of smart contract languages (Solidity).
• Understanding of blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with security analysis tools and static analyzers (e.g., Slither) and dynamic analysis tools.
• Familiarity with attack vectors and defenses in blockchain systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for reporting and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts and dApps written in Solidity.
• Identify vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflows, front-running, access control).
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of blockchain code.
• Develop and use security testing tools and frameworks.
• Provide detailed reports with risks and remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement security best practices.
• Stay updated on blockchain security threats and mitigation techniques.
• Contribute to internal security audit methodologies and best practices.
• Assist in incident response and forensic analysis when breaches occur.
• Educate clients and internal teams on blockchain security best practices.
