Placements24 is seeking a skilled Backend Blockchain Developer to join its innovative team in León, Guanajuato, MX. You will build and maintain robust backend infrastructure powering decentralized applications, designing APIs, databases, and server-side logic for secure on-chain and off-chain interactions.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of backend experience, proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, or Java, and a solid understanding of blockchain protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven experience developing robust APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Understanding of blockchain principles and protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Experience with message queues is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices for backend systems.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• A passion for crypto and blockchain technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for blockchain apps.
• Implement and manage databases and data storage solutions for blockchain data.
• Develop server-side logic that interacts with smart contracts and networks.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code in Go, Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Optimize performance for low latency and high throughput.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with UIs.
• Work with smart contract developers for on-chain/off-chain integration.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to ensure high availability.
• Stay updated on advancements in backend tech and blockchain space.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to roadmaps.
