Mercier Consultancy Group is hiring a Dutch Speaking Content Moderator to work on-site in Athens, Greece. You will review and moderate Dutch language content from social platforms, ensuring compliance with platform policies and community guidelines.

Formación

• Native or fluent Dutch language proficiency, both spoken and written, is essential for this role.
• Valid EU passport or EU citizenship is mandatory for employment eligibility.
• A strong understanding of Dutch-language cultural context, social norms, and digital communication trends, particularly within social media environments.
• Excellent attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to make consistent, objective decisions under pressure or when handling sensitive content.
• Solid digital literacy and comfort working with multiple online platforms, content management tools, and internal moderation systems simultaneously.
• A professional, empathetic, and resilient mindset with the ability to maintain well-being and perspective when reviewing challenging or distressing social media content.
• Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, or a related digital or social media role is considered a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Review, assess, and moderate user-generated content on social media platforms in Dutch, ensuring full compliance with platform community guidelines and content policies.
• Identify and action harmful, offensive, misleading, or policy-violating content including hate speech, graphic material, misinformation, and spam across social media channels.
• Make accurate, consistent, and well-reasoned content decisions within defined service level agreements and quality benchmarks.
• Escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk social media content cases to senior moderators or specialist teams in a timely and precise manner.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of moderation actions, decisions, and patterns to support reporting and quality assurance processes.
• Stay continuously up to date with evolving social media trends, platform policy updates, and Dutch-language cultural nuances that may impact content review decisions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Training departments to drive consistent moderation standards.
• Contribute proactive feedback and insights to help improve content moderation workflows, tools, and internal guidelines within the social media environment.
