Job summary

GitLab is seeking an Associate Solutions Architect for its SMB EMEA Sales team. You will be a trusted advisor, guiding customers through technical evaluations and workshops to demonstrate GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own POC/POV activities, and help shape customer architectures while driving platform adoption and revenue growth. Remote, international scope with flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles guiding solution design and evaluation.
• Understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment, security, and operations discussions with technical teams.
• Ability to lead proofs of concept or value and to design workshops.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through GitLab's DevSecOps platform from planning to deployment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Marketing to drive value.
• Complete onboarding and gain platform knowledge within the first two months.
• Engage with customers onsite and remotely as a technical advisor in pre-sales.
• Lead technical evaluations, RFP support, and workshop design.
• Educate SMB customers on GitLab value and drive platform adoption across teams.
