Permira is seeking an experienced, organised individual to join the Fund Operations team in Madrid, focusing on internal co-investment schemes and balance sheet vehicles across private equity and private credit products. The role reports to two Directors within Fund Finance and requires a motivated, detail-oriented candidate with a genuine interest in private equity operations.

Formación

  • Strong academic background; a degree in Finance/Accounting is desirable.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with an eagerness to learn more.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data, maintain accuracy and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with Power BI/Tableau would be beneficial.
  • Experience or interest in private equity or private credit, and broader asset management and investment operations.
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg financial, tax and regulatory reporting would be desirable.

Responsabilidades

  • Supporting the preparation and review of quarterly management accounts and capital accounts for the partnerships.
  • Preparation of quarterly valuation summaries.
  • Supporting quarterly reporting, presentations and reporting templates for senior and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring fund administrator reporting is accurate, on time, and reflective of wider business insights.
  • Review of the annual financial statements prepared by the administrators and supporting the audit process.
  • Monthly updates of liquidity and cashflow projections, and preparation of cash flow statements, to support management decisions.
  • Managing investment-related payments and transactions.
  • Supporting the collection and maintenance of partnership bank details.
  • Monitoring key areas that may impact the entities, e.g. facility covenants and available capital.
  • Assisting with FATCA/CRS and tax and regulatory reporting.
  • Assisting in onboarding new partnerships, collaborating with the legal team and administrator (AML).
  • Liaison with firm finance, investor relations, transaction operations, valuation and fund finance teams across Madrid, London, Luxembourg and the US.
  • Managing investor queries and preparing analysis for use across departments, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  • Conducting periodic reviews of processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and tasks as required.

The Permira private equity funds make both buyout and growth equity investments in four key sectors: Technology, Consumer, Healthcare and Services. The Permira credit funds support businesses with flexible financing solutions across Direct Lending, Strategic Opportunities and CLO Management. Established in 2007, the firm advises investment funds and products which have provided approximately €25 billion of debt capital to over 300 businesses.

We are seeking an experienced, organised individual to join the Fund Operations team, with a focus on Permira’s Internal Co-investment schemes and Balance Sheet vehicles (acros both Private Equity and Private Credit products). The role reports jointly to two Directors within Fund Finance. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and organisational skills and a genuine interest in private equity operations and investment management, who is keen to learn and develop their career within a leading global private equity firm.

Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting, Reporting & Audit
  • Supporting the preparation and review of quarterly management accounts and capital accounts for the partnerships
  • Preparation of quarterly valuation summaries
  • Supporting quarterly reporting, presentations and reporting templates for senior and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring fund administrator reporting is accurate, on time, and reflective of wider business insights
  • Review of the annual financial statements prepared by the administrators and supporting the audit process
Cash, Capital & Transactions
  • Supporting the administrators in issuing and reviewing capital calls and distributions
  • Monthly updates of liquidity and cashflow projections, and preparation of cash flow statements, to support management decisions
  • Managing investment-related payments and transactions
  • Supporting the collection and maintenance of partnership bank details
  • Monitoring key areas that may impact the entities, e.g. facility covenants and available capital
Compliance, Onboarding & Continuous Improvement
  • Assisting with FATCA/CRS and tax and regulatory reporting
  • Assisting in onboarding new partnerships, collaborating with the legal team and administrator (AML)
