Pinnacle Fund Services is seeking a motivated Fund Accountant to join our Valencia team. You will support NAV production for private equity funds, working closely with Senior Fund Accountants in North America, and will record capital activity, cash flows, and portfolio pricing according to fund documents.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong English communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High level of English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Prior fund accounting experience is desired but not required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the preparation of NAV calculations on a timely basis, including recording capital activity and cash reconciliations.
• Record distributions and pricing portfolios in accordance with funds' offering documents.
• Ensure fund income and expenses, including fees, are accrued and in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare Investor Statements and contract notes.
• Support responses to ad-hoc reporting requests and manage deadlines.

Job description

As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the NAV production process for the Private Equity client portfolio, working closely with Senior Fund Accountants and Management in North America. As part of the Private Equity Team, you will work with close-ended Funds specializing in private equity, private debt, real estate and venture capital.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting, strong written and spoken English skills, and an interest in developing their experience within the fund administration industry.

Please note that this is a full-time, in-office position based in Valencia, Spain.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of net asset value calculations on a timely basis, which includes:
  • Recording capital activity such as capital calls & distributions
  • Recording cash activity and performing cash reconciliations
  • Pricing portfolios in accordance with funds’ offering documents
  • Ensuring fund income and expenses, including management and performance fees, are accrued for and are in accordance with relevant accounting standards
  • Preparing Investor Statements and contract notes
• Supporting responses to ad-hoc reporting requests as required by clients
• Manage own time and workload effectively, ensuring both internal and external deadlines are met
