Scopely is seeking an Associate Compensation Specialist to join the Total Rewards team in Barcelona, working primarily from the office. You will help run and improve global compensation programs, with focus on HRIS data, systems, process design, and scalable solutions.

You will partner with People Business Partners, talent acquisition and business leaders to ensure competitive pay practices and translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsabilidades

• Administer compensation systems and workflows. Configure, test, document and improve processes in Workday with HRIS team collaboration.
• Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys; participate in submissions and maintain salary ranges for internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Analyze data and present insights; build reports, dashboards and monitor data integrity.
• Ensure compliance and data integrity; participate in reporting and audits; document processes and maintain records.
• Drive continuous improvement; identify automation opportunities and Workday enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will help run and improve Scopely's global compensation programs, with particular focus on HRIS data, compensation systems, process design, and scalable solutions. You will also conduct market benchmarking and salary analysis, administer annual and merit cycles, and translate complex data into insights. You’ll partner closely with People Business Partners (PBPs), talent acquisition and business leaders, ensuring our pay practices are competitive, compliant and aligned with Scopely’s fast‑paced, innovative culture.

• Run compensation programs. Support the development and execution of base‑pay structures, annual/merit reviews, promotions, equity and incentive programs. Contribute to plan documents, policies and system enhancements to streamline processes.
• Administer compensation systems and workflows. Configure, test, document, and improve compensation processes in Workday and related tools, partnering with HRIS teams on enhancements and issue resolution.
• Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys. Participate in survey submissions, perform market and cost analyses, and maintain salary ranges to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Identify compensation enhancements and recommend adjustments to keep Scopely ahead of market trends.
• Analyze data and present insights. Use data analyses and cost comparisons to evaluate compensation and benefits policies; prepare reports and dashboards that communicate findings and trends. Build reports, dashboards, and metrics and monitor the integrity and validity of the data reported
• Ensure compliance and data integrity. Participate in compensation reporting, audits and data‑integrity initiatives; document processes and maintain accurate records.
• Drive continuous improvement. Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and re-engineering across compensation programs; Identify and implement operational and system enhancements (e.g., in Workday) that improve efficiency and data accuracy. Monitor industry changes and adjust compensation strategies accordingly.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards analytics, finance, consulting, investment banking or a similarly applicable field
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or a related field
• Exceptional quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to perform data and cost analyses
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present compensation analyses and recommendations
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment; strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong English language skills are required for this role, as we have a highly diverse and global business

• Experience in the gaming, tech or entertainment industry
• Skilled in Python/R
• Workday Advanced Compensation experience
• CCP or similar certification
• Experience administering base pay, merit cycles, promotions and incentive programs, including market pricing and survey participation
• Demonstrated success partnering with HRBPs and business leaders, resolving compensation issues and providing consultation on pay decisions
• Experience designing or implementing AI-assisted workflows, including prompt design, output validation, process documentation and measurement of accuracy
