Scopely is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our Finance team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis, working three days a week from the hub. The role supports day-to-day accounting operations and will lead accounting initiatives and projects as needed.

You should have at least three years of accounting experience, a relevant degree, and strong English communication, analytical skills, and Excel proficiency. Experience in international company settings is a plus.

• Minimum 3 years experience in accounting, or similar.
• Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Experience in working in an international company over multiple locations.
• Demonstrated history of process improvements.
• Prior experience working with Oracle will be an advantage.
• Excellent communications skills in English.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and other MS packages.

Responsabilidades

• Support Accounting Manager to partner with Business Development team to keep track of newly signed development agreements and IP contracts
• Partner with Revenue team on reconciling the cash receipt on revenues collected and partner to investigate the variances
• Collaborate effectively with various teams, subsidiaries, and external auditors to address queries and provide necessary information during audit – internal and IP holder audit
• Assist revenue share/reimbursement calculation for IP holders and Developers on a monthly/quarterly basis
• Ad-hoc project as needed

What You Will Do
