SIG is seeking a Process Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of food processing equipment, with emphasis on aseptic and hot-fill technologies, filling systems, and hygienic design principles.

You will develop process concepts, P&IDs, layouts, and specifications, while collaborating with R&D, Project Management, and Operations to optimize systems and support FAT/SAT, commissioning and on-site start-up activities. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• 5+ years in food/beverage/pharma process industries focusing on equipment design
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing systems
• Experience with aseptic processing, filling technologies, CIP/SIP or hygienic equipment design is desirable
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design and engineering of equipment for food processing
• Develop complete aseptic and hot-fill production systems and related equipment
• Drive system-level engineering, integration and optimization
• Create P&IDs, equipment layouts, specs, and engineering documentation
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up activities
• Collaborate with Mechanical Design, Automation, R&D, PM, Product Management and Operations
• Travel internationally to support commissioning, start-ups and customer projects
